Weeks 1-14 – FIRST TRIMESTER – Weekly
The first trimester is considered by many to be the most delicate time in the pregnancy. The birther is growing both a babe and a placenta, hormones are raging, and this is where the majority of pregnancy loss occurs for various reasons.
Weekly Reflexology during this stage supports the birther and the babe in tandem in this volatile time, balances hormones, soothes morning sickness, smoothes out fatigue and supports the growth of a healthy placenta (complete between weeks 10-14) which supports the babe throughout the pregnancy
Weeks 15-32 – SECOND TRIMESTER – Every 4 Weeks
If the pregnancy is healthy and no gestational conditions are suspected or diagnosed, Maternity Reflexology every 4 weeks during this phase of the pregnancy supports the babes continued development, helps relieve the extra strain put on all the birther organs both as far as supporting the child and as far as displacement in the cavity due to growth of the fetus. It helps the birther rest and prepare by encouraging good sleep patterns and balanced hormones.
Weeks 32-38 – THIRD TRIMESTER – Every 2 Weeks
As you near the end of your gestation your body is under great strain to continue to support the babe and still have adequate performance for your own daily needs. If you’re one of the lucky ones, here is where the musculoskeletal aches and pains really start popping up as your centre of gravity changes and more pressure is applied to your spine, hips, legs feet as well as vital organs.
Maternity Reflexology every 2 weeks during this time allows us to really focus on current symptoms and bring great relief to the birther in late stage pregnancy.
Weeks 38-42 – LABOUR PRIMING – 1-2 Times Weekly
Now is the time! Birther and babe eagerly await the day they can meet each other and both hurriedly prepare the final touches for this moment.
Labour Priming Reflexology Techniques, as always, allows us to work in tandem on both birther and babe to ensure everyone and everything is in perfect order for the birth to start.
In order to have your very best pregnancy and birth, it is my high recommendation that the Maternity Reflexology Care Schedule set out above be followed closely.
Of course, any Maternity Reflexology Care is better than none, so come when you can 💕
