Gloria Laing became a Professional Member of the Reflexology Association of Canada (RAC) in 2012 when she earned her Registered Canadian Reflexology Therapist (RCRT) designation after passing her Core Foot Reflexology exams.

She was quickly adopted in the Manitoba Chapter of RAC and became the President of the Chapter a short 2 months after joining! After serving on the Board as Chapter President for 18 months she decided to take a break from Chapter work and focus on her career.

The following years saw Gloria completing her Hand Reflexology Certification through RAC and her Champissage (Indian Head Massage) training through the Canadian Centre of Indian Head Massage.

Gloria had a passion for Women’s Health, having come from an administrative position in a local team of Midwives, and was searching for some organized education in that field. In 2016 she came across Barbara Scott’s ReproFlexology training and within 2 weeks was sitting at her breakfast nook at 3:30am every Wednesday for 8 weeks to receive the training that would change her practice and her life; becoming the first Certified ReproFlexology Therapist in North America. Gloria has been a passionate advocate for her clients in their individual Fertility journeys ever since and a staunch proponent for education of the masses on issues and diagnosis surrounding Fertility and Hormone Health.

In 2017 Gloria was finally able to receive her training in Advanced Maternity Reflexology through the Maternity Reflexology Consortium and Jenni Tribe; a training she had been chasing for the full 5 years of her Reflexology Career. After that training she went home to enroll and complete a Birth Doula training, which had been her original exit strategy plan for her administrative job in 2011, before she became aware of Reflexology.

2019 has seen Gloria once again assume the role of President of her local Chapter of the Reflexology Association of Canada, a Chapter of close to 200 members. It has also seen her complete her Competency work with the Maternity Reflexology Constortium, making her the first Certified Maternity Reflexology Practitioner in Manitoba, Canada.
