REFLEXOLOGY CARE SCHEDULE FOR NATURAL CONCEPTION: MALE

ReproFlexology is highly advanced Reproductive Reflexology Protocols that allow me to expediate the balancing of your Reproductive Hormones and systems that affect Reproduction in order for you to prepare for Natural Conception and your best pregnancy outcomes.

Male Factor Infertility is becoming wider and wider acknowledged, treated and improved upon, removing (although not always) a lot of undue stress and medical interventions from the female partner.

Male Factor Infertility comes in a variety of causations. Listed in these causations (but not limited to) are Mumps, Low Testosterone, Varicocele, Vasectomy Reversal, Hydrocele, Prostatitis, Testicular Cancer, Low Sperm Count/Motility, Fragmented Sperm DNA, and Erectile Dysfunction.

WEEKLY: Weekly ReproFlexology sessions for Male Factor Infertility for 12 weeks or until resolution of the condition is acknowledged. During this time lifestyle changes are also highly recommended and in some cases high grade supplements are also recommended.

While it is not always possible for Male Factor Infertility conditions to be resolved completely, these ReproFlexology protocols can certainly help increase the odds of a successful IVF/ICSI protocol by improving the quality of the sperm that would be extracted in this case.

MATERNITY REFLEXOLOGY CARE SCHEDULE

MATERNITY REFLEXOLGY CARE SCHEDULE - STUDIO ON 27 REFLEXOLOGY
WHAT SHOULD YOUR MATERNITY REFLEXOLOGY CARE SCHEDULE LOOK LIKE

Weeks 1-14 – FIRST TRIMESTER – Weekly

The first trimester is considered by many to be the most delicate time in the pregnancy. The birther is growing both a babe and a placenta, hormones are raging, and this is where the majority of pregnancy loss occurs for various reasons.
Weekly Reflexology during this stage supports the birther and the babe in tandem in this volatile time, balances hormones, soothes morning sickness, smoothes out fatigue and supports the growth of a healthy placenta (complete between weeks 10-14) which supports the babe throughout the pregnancy

Weeks 15-32 – SECOND TRIMESTER – Every 4 Weeks

If the pregnancy is healthy and no gestational conditions are suspected or diagnosed, Maternity Reflexology every 4 weeks during this phase of the pregnancy supports the babes continued development, helps relieve the extra strain put on all the birther organs both as far as supporting the child and as far as displacement in the cavity due to growth of the fetus. It helps the birther rest and prepare by encouraging good sleep patterns and balanced hormones.

Weeks 32-38 – THIRD TRIMESTER – Every 2 Weeks

As you near the end of your gestation your body is under great strain to continue to support the babe and still have adequate performance for your own daily needs. If you’re one of the lucky ones, here is where the musculoskeletal aches and pains really start popping up as your centre of gravity changes and more pressure is applied to your spine, hips, legs feet as well as vital organs.

Maternity Reflexology every 2 weeks during this time allows us to really focus on current symptoms and bring great relief to the birther in late stage pregnancy.

Weeks 38-42 – LABOUR PRIMING – 1-2 Times Weekly

Now is the time! Birther and babe eagerly await the day they can meet each other and both hurriedly prepare the final touches for this moment.
Labour Priming Reflexology Techniques, as always, allows us to work in tandem on both birther and babe to ensure everyone and everything is in perfect order for the birth to start.

In order to have your very best pregnancy and birth, it is my high recommendation that the Maternity Reflexology Care Schedule set out above be followed closely.
Of course, any Maternity Reflexology Care is better than none, so come when you can 💕

TOES in REFLEXOLOGY: Who are they and what do they do?

If I had to choose one part of the foot that I preferred to focus on, it would have to be the toes. In fact, if you’ve ever been on my Reflexology table, you’d be able to testify that I spend a minimum of 10 minutes on the toes alone, and they only make up less than 1/4 of the square footage (😉) of your feet!

So why are these tiny appendages so very important in your Reflexology session?

Physically the 10 toes correlate to your head, the 10 zones of your head (5 on the left foot and 5 on the right foot) with the big toes being the major player for limbic focus.

So if we were to slice your head into 10 even slices and examine what each slice contained as far as hormonal glands, nerves, eyes/ears/nose/mouth, limbic sections etc… each of your 10 toes would correlate exactly to the corresponding head slice. Now I know that might make some of you squeamish, but I promise, I wont actually slice your head if you attend my studio. But I ALSO promise that each “slice” will receive a thorough review and attention so that nothing is missed or overlooked.

The large toes then also represent the head, both in Left and Right Halves, but also as a complete whole again. Very specific work for stress, hormones, headaches, craniosacral issues etc can be done from the two big toes. What’s even more exciting is the Limbic aspect of the big toes. The limbic system is a set of structures in the brain that deal with emotions and memory. It regulates autonomic or endocrine function in response to emotional stimuli and also is involved in reinforcing behaviour. Very specific conditions can be targeted and improved by knowing where the limbic reflexes lie, what they do, and how to treat them. Think anxiety, PMDD, Post Concussive Injury Syndrome, Migraines etc..

Slow deep work on the toes during a Reflexology session brings on deep relaxation and healing as we are directly sedating the Central Nervous System and allowing your brain to check in with itself to see where the self-healing is required.

7 HABITS OF HIGHLY EFFECTIVE SLEEPERS

getting proper and enough sleep is vital in overall good health and function for our brain, body and systems
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
so what are some things you can do to get the right amount of good quality sleep?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. regular Reflexology treatments to help relieve body tension, put your brain in neutral and get your seratonin flowing

2. set a regular bedtime and wake time. yes, this routine you hated as a child can become your best friend now that you’re all grown up and can make your own decisions 😉

3. never take your phone, tablet, PC or TV to bed with you. using these devices before trying to sleep actually stimulates the brain and the wake cycle in your body causing you to have less time in deep sleep

4. read a book or magazine in bed to unwind. this also helps calm the mind, relax the body and prepare the system for sleep

5. spend 5-15 mins in Child’s Pose or Legs Up On The Wall yoga poses. both of these poses are proven to relax and sedate

6. weighted or heavier blankets have shown to translate into deeper more restorative sleeps. the weight of the blanket reduces anxiety and calms the nervous system

7. stay within 2 hours of your regular sleep wake times on the weekends. Circadian Rhythms can shift by 2 hours in each direction on occassion without too much negative impact on your rest.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
making positive changes to your sleep patterns will show huge dividends in your overall health – and very quickly at that!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
until your next Reflexology treatment, sweet dreams 💕

Pregnancy Loss & Maternity Reflexology

There is so much negative terminology around the Reproductive System, and “miscarriage” is a big one. Miscarriage can carry the connotation of mistakes made or incompetent mother and uterus – so I prefer to use Loss of Pregnancy.
.
You might think Loss of Pregnancy and Maternity Reflexology do not belong together, but they do!
.
With the Loss of a Pregnancy there is pain, grief, shame, guilt, anger, denial. These are a few of the plethora of emotional consequences with Loss of Pregnancy. But there is also physical pain, hormonal imbalance, huge loss of blood, fatigue etc.
.
Maternity Reflexology allows us to attend to both the emotional and physical needs of the Mother after a Loss of Pregnancy – whatever the stage the loss occurs at. With Maternity Reflexology protocols for Loss of Pregnancy we can re-balance hormones, reconnect and restore energy and “sense of self”, help reset the uterus to it’s non-pregnant state, help prevent the feelings of guilt from settling in and get the lymphatic system working to help the body cleanse thoroughly.

GESTATIONAL DIABETES & MATERNITY REFLEXOLOGY

Gestational diabetes, also known as ‘diabetes in pregnancy,’ can develop in up to 20% of pregnant women, and can often go undetected. If left untreated though, it can lead to complications for you and your baby.

When you’re pregnant, gestational diabetes can occur if your body can’t produce enough insulin to adapt to the effects of a growing baby and your changing hormone levels. Basically the cells become resistant to the action of insulin and, in turn, the pancreas cannot secrete enough insulin to counterbalance the effect of these hormones. This initially causes hyperglycemia (high blood sugar levels) and then eventually diabetes.

A Certified Maternity Reflexology Therapist is educated in what Gestational Diabetes is and how to work on the foot or hand to A: encourage hormones and insulin levels to remain balanced throughout Pregnancy to avoid Gestational Diabetes and B: balance insulin and hormone levels in cases where Gestational Diabetes has already developed to control symptoms and consequences of Gestational Diabetes, both for the Birther and the Babe.
